For You;

For those interested in the spirituality of nature, trees have always carried wisdom and been considered sacred.

Each Ogham symbol takes its name from Celtic mythology and metaphorical tree meanings.

Oghams are full of symbolism and spiritual magic and their meanings can contain many different messages.

It is important to understand and respect those who have used them over the years.

Oghams are sacred and powerful for those who have used them (and continue to use them) for spells, signs and magic.

They help you connect with the energy of each tree and the spirit of nature.

Ogham is an Irish alphabet of 20 letters. Its historical origin is uncertain, but it is recognised to have originated around the Irish Sea in the 4th century AD.

The original form of Ogham represented 80 sounds and the 20 symbols were organised into four groups of five.

Each group or aicme is grouped into one to five lines, with each letter represented by one, two, three, four or five lines, or placed to the left, right or both sides of an axis line.

It consists of notches carved in wood or stone.

The Celts believed that trees and nature had a spirit. They used Ogham to connect with nature.

Each Letter (Runic symbol) was associated with a tree and its creation was attributed to the god Ogma.

Various forms of Ogham writing were used for magical purposes such as amulets, talismans and divination, to predict the future or to reveal secrets.

Ogham became popular again among Neopagans in the 20th century, thanks to Robert Graves' book "The White Goddess" (Turkish: Ak Tanrıça - Kabalcı publications, 2015).

It is widely believed that it was the Druids (Celtic Priests) who created the Ogham to send secret and magical messages.

Oghams are used for divination, as well as for marking graves, marking boundaries and connecting with Nature and ancestors.
